Race Program Lead (Head Coach)

Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation (PYSF) in Redwood City, CA is seeking a passionate, experienced sailing professional to serve as Race Program Lead. This full-time, year-round leadership role oversees high school and C420/i420 programs, combining elite coaching, program management, staff supervision, and national travel. This position leads on-water training five days a week, coaches at regattas, manages logistics and budgets, coordinates with schools and families, and maintains a fleet of 20 CFJs to “white glove” standards. Ideal candidates have extensive youth coaching experience, strong leadership and organizational skills, and technical fleet knowledge. Salary ranges from $100,000–$120,000 with health and dental benefits. US Sailing certification and background check required.
