35 FT Yorktown 35 1979/80

SV ‘Merilon’ has been meticulously maintained by a single owner over the last 32 years. It is a USCG documented vessel with solid hand-laid fiberglass hull that was factory finished by Yorktown Yachts and was refitted for bluewater sailing. It has a modified long fin keel with skeg-hung rudder and 7000 lbs of lead ingot/cement ballast that gives it great hull speed (7.5 kts) and downwind tracking performance. It is berthed at Bercovich Marina in La Paz, BCS, MX, in the heart of Loreto Bay Marine National Park. Perfect liveaboard boat for exploring the Sea of Cortez and beyond.
