Missing: Irwin 52 ‘YachtCruz’
A sailboat traveling from Cabo San Lucas to San Diego has gone missing, and debris and an EPIRB have been found, according to people familiar with the incident.

Saturday was a stunning day to be cruising the Bay. Though, this time, we did it from about 1500 feet. The view is a little different than from sea level.

Hall of Fame Accepting Nominations
The National Sailing Hall of Fame accepts nominations any time, but only those received by midnight (Pacific Time) on March 30 will be considered for this year’s class of Inductees. (Nominations received after March 30 will be included for consideration for the Class of 2019.) More »
Pacific Seacoast Study Seeks Input
The US Coast Guard is conducting a study of navigation needs in the Pacific Seacoast System and wants help from sailors in the region. The Waterways Analysis and Management System study will review the short range Aids to Navigation system that covers American waterways from the Canadian border to the Mexican border and around Alaska, Hawaii and all US territories throughout the Pacific. Court Rules for Sweeney, Against BCDC
In a decision that could set a powerful precedent for the dispute between Westpoint Harbor and the Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC), a Solano County Superior Court Judge overturned $3.6 million in fines levied by the BCDC and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board against John Sweeney, the owner of a 39-acre island in the Suisun Marsh.
