Doo Dah Hooplah
Within 48 hours of announcing the Delta Doo Dah in March 4’s ‘Lectronic, all 30 available spots in this first annual fun rally to the Delta were spoken for. Spaulding Youth Boat Building
Last November, a group of nearly a dozen kids launched their pride and joy: the 12-ft Norwegian pram Guppy. The kids had worked for seven months on the little boat as part of the Spaulding Center’s first-ever youth boat building program. More »

Ocean Film Festival
The San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, now in its sixth year, once again hopes to inspire folks to celebrate Mother Ocean and work to conserve her precious resources. Renowned master rigger Brion Toss will be speaking on the "Hidden Causes of Rig Failure" at Spaulding Wooden Boat Center in Sausalito this Thursday at 6 p.m. The free 1½-hour talk is a bonus for Bay Area sailors as the Port Townsend-based Toss is in town for a weekend-long rigging workshop in Alameda.
