Joan Storer Race Smoked Out
In Wednesday’s ‘Lectronic Latitude, we previewed Tiburon Yacht Club’s Joan Storer Regatta, scheduled for tomorrow, October 14. But TYC has decided to postpone the women’s/coed race. US Sailing Nominations Open
US Sailing is accepting nominations for 2017 Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year through November 30. Each member of US Sailing may nominate the one American male and one female sailor they believe turned in the most outstanding on-the-water performance during the 2017 calendar year. More »

Weekend Racing Wrap-Up
Don Jesberg’s Viva takes a wave. Andrea Cabito, Bill Hardesty and Robbie Dean joined Jesberg on the SFYC-based boat, which placed seventh in the Worlds. The top local boat was another from SFYC, Jim Cunningham’s Lifted, with Chloe Holder, Jeff Madrigali and Mark Ivey, in fourth place. More »
