Happy Labor Day

We hope everyone is enjoying this three-day weekend, on the water, on a sailboat. Or doing their latest, greatest boat project. On Friday, before the Labor Day weekend, we introduced our new Working Waterfront page as a central resource for our coverage of the people and businesses that serve our maritime community. For Labor Day we’re sharing more images of people getting the job done! If you have images of boat work underway, send them here.

Happy Labor Day, and thanks to all the tradespeople whose skill and dedication keep the boats afloat and the working waterfront vibrant.

Finding a Seat on the Ocean
The 'Latitude 38' Crew List parties have come back to life as sailors showed up to compare notes, read the stickers pasted on one another's chests, and sort out who's sailing where and with whom. We'll assume it will all get sorted out in the weeks to come.
