SPECIAL EDITION: Possible Child Abduction on ‘Unleashed’

Yesterday we reported that Unleashed, a Hunter 41 in Club Nautique’s charter program, was stolen from Ballena Isle Marina Tuesday evening. Marianne Armand, Marketing Manager for Club Nautique, now says the police have identified the main suspect as a man who allegedly abducted his children from their mother. The boat was reportedly last seen near Vallejo last night around 6 p.m., so it appears he’s heading up the Napa River or to the Delta. Please keep a sharp eye out for Unleashed and if you spot her, immediately call 911.

Ready to rumble. Starting tomorrow, 66 boats will compete in the 48th Rolex Big Boat Series.
If you’re planning to sail to Mexico this fall — whether in the Baja Ha-Ha rally or on your own — an extra pair of hands to take on a few of those interminable middle-of-the-night watches will make your trip down the coast much more relaxing and pleasurable.
