After 10 straight days of rain, Kerry, Shirley (pictured here), Ruthie and Terena took the 42-ft one-off cutter Cetacea out to soak up some sunshine. They stopped at Ayala Cove on Angel Island before heading out the Gate.
All has not been doom and gloom this February, and Captain Kerry has the photographic proof. These photos were taken during "a celebration of the Greek sun god, Apollo." There will be another sunny weekend… someday.
We said it was sunny, we didn’t say it was warm. Sailing into the wind calls for thick jackets and stadium blankets.
