How Thrifty Can You Be?

Last night we were talking to some folks who reported that they cruised the Sea of Cortez while living on an average of about $300 a month, lobster dinners included. They told us that during their most thrifty month, they only spent $78, and that included a dinner out. We’ll have details in the August issue of Latitude.

So our question to cruisers is, have you ever gone a month where you spent less than $78? Better still, has anyone ever gone a full month without spending so much as a peso? Email Richard.
