Boat-In Dining

Where do you go to find an ice-cold, locally brewed IPA, a hot, delicious meal or a fine bottle of wine within a short walk from a dock or anchorage? This summer sailing season seems like a good time to find out. A few years ago we made an effort to put together a comprehensive Boat-In Dining list.

This year, and in typical Bay Area fashion, we’re building the Boat-In Dining List 2.0, and we need your help!

Sam’s Anchor Cafe in Tiburon remains a perennial favorite, but it’s hard not to want to explore other Bay Area destinations.

Many establishments have changed hands, closed for business or opened since our last list. The good news is there’s hardly a dock or marina anywhere that doesn’t make a great destination for waterside dining. And with Lyft and Uber now prowling the streets, the radius of options is much greater.

We will be adding more bars and eateries to the list in the coming weeks, but thought we’d ask you for your favorites. What’s your perfect destination for food, drinks and entertainment? Email us here and let us know. Cheers!

Almost any cuisine and almost any type of entertainment is nearby and ready to welcome you and your crew.
