The countdown is on! With a couple of months to go, preparations for Baja Ha-Ha XXXII are well underway among both rally organizers and the 52 boats signed up as of this writing. Some boats are literally underway, having departed far-flung homeports in Alaska or the PNW to get to San Diego in time for the November 2 start.

50Moore Than Ever Before

The 50th Moore 24 Nationals will happen September 24-27 in Santa Cruz, and at the time of this writing there were 75 boats registered — nearly half the boats ever made (only 156 Moore 24s were built).

54Dismasted In The Mackinac

For more than a century, every summer a fleet of sailors has raced from Port Huron to Mackinac Island, across Lake Huron. The race is well known and popular, often drawing more than 200 entries. The 100th running, in 2024, had more than 300 entries. It's challenging and long. The shoreline racecourse, along the eastern shore of Michigan's lower peninsula, is over 200 miles.
