Good News for the Working Waterfront?

It appears Gen Z is tacking for clear air in an attempt to escape tech job losses (and boredom?) from AI.  In what sounds like good news for the working waterfront, The Harris Poll did a study for Intuit Credit Karma showing 50% of Gen Z and 42% of millennials are planning to move to blue-collar/trade jobs like welding, plumbing, and electrical work which is good news for boatyards and the marine trades in general. Many maritime businesses on the waterfront are looking for the next generation of skilled craftspeople to fill critical roles in the business. It appears the nextgen is listening.
