As the 2023 Rolex Big Boat Series progressed, the conditions moderated each day from Thursday's typical San Francisco Bay breeze into the 20s with ebb chop to a kinder, gentler wind speed over flood-current-flat water.

The ARC+ is a new twist on the original route. This itinerary starts in Las Palmas, heads south 800 miles to Mindelo, Cabo Verde, then west 2,300 miles to finish in St. George's, Grenada. The 2022 rally boasted 91 yachts that brought more than 400 crew across the Atlantic to celebrate the journey together.
