West Coast Multihulls Relaunches Yacht Brokerage Division
With more than 25 years of experience, West Coast Multihulls expands its full-circle sailing model with new and pre-owned yacht sales informed by real-world charter and sailing operations.
San Diego, CA — February 10, 2026 — West Coast Multihulls announces the reopening of its yacht brokerage division, offering sales and listings for new and pre-owned yachts, with a specialized focus on performance cruising and charter-ready catamarans. The brokerage serves clients across the U.S. West Coast, Baja California, Mexico, and cruising destinations worldwide.

Founded in 1999 by multihull specialist Kurt Jerman, West Coast Multihulls began as a dedicated yacht sales agency focused on helping sailors find the right boat to support their cruising dreams and long-term sailing aspirations.
In 2010, the company expanded to include a well-established catamaran charter fleet and an award-winning American Sailing Association (ASA) sailing school, creating a natural entry point for sailors to gain real-world experience before charting a course toward ownership.
In 2016, West Coast Multihulls aligned with Denison Yachting, expanding its brokerage reach while continuing to grow its charter and sailing school operations. Geographic growth followed with the launch of its Loreto, Mexico charter base in the Sea of Cortez in 2018 and expansion into Los Angeles in 2024 through the acquisition of Blue Pacific Yachting.

In late 2025, Denison Yachting made a strategic decision to step away from sailboat sales and focus exclusively on the powerboat market. That shift created an opportunity for Kurt and the West Coast Multihulls team to bring brokerage services back in-house – reuniting sales, charters, sailing education, and yacht management under one fully integrated, full-circle model.
“Our full-circle approach reflects how sailors evolve,” said Guinevere King, General Manager of West Coast Multihulls. “Most sailors start with a lesson or a charter, then progress into ownership and charter management as they build confidence. From there, everyone’s sailing journey looks a little different – some choose to untie the lines and cruise the world, while others find joy sailing close to home with family and friends.”
This next chapter brings together more than 25 years of industry experience and over 16 years of charter operations within West Coast Multihulls’ renewed yacht sales division. Clients benefit from WCM’s hands-on experience and insight – guided by a team that understands not only how yachts sell, but how they are enjoyed under sail and beyond the horizon.
