Svendsen’s Bay Marine, a trusted name in Bay Area boating since 1963, is welcoming the public to its newly upgraded facility with an open house event on Saturday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 310 West Cutting Blvd. in Richmond.

The event celebrates the completion of a multi-million-dollar expansion and renovation that significantly enhances Svendsen’s Bay Marine’s capabilities. With the largest haul-out capacity in California, the state’s first indoor paint booth for boats of all sizes, an expanded engine shop, new floating docks, and a range of infrastructure improvements, the facility is now positioned to serve a broader range of recreational and commercial boaters.

The open house will offer guests an inside look at the new facilities, including guided tours, live demonstrations, and exhibits from marine vendors and local boating organizations. Food, drinks, and family-friendly activities will also be available throughout the day. The event is free and open to the public.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the Svendsen’s Bay Marine team, as well as connect with marine professionals, boat dealers, and community partners who support the region’s vibrant maritime culture.
