Kristi McKenney Appointed First Female Executive Director of the Port of Oakland

Kristi McKenney  has been appointed by the Port of Oakland’s board of directors as the new executive director Port of Oakland.

McKenney, a Cal Berkeley grad with a Science degree in Civil Engineering and Transportation has worked at the Port for over thirty years. She starts on March 1st as the first female executive director in the Port’s 98-year history. She’s succeeding former director, Danny Wan, who recently announced his retirement.
