2025 Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show Canceled; Plans Underway for Reimagined 2026 Event

Redwood City, Calif. (April 14, 2025) – The California Yacht Brokers Association (CYBA) has officially announced the cancellation of the 2025 Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show, originally scheduled to take place May 15–18, 2025, at Westpoint Harbor in Redwood City, California.

The decision was made following an emergency board meeting held on April 2, during which the CYBA Board of Directors, show management, and marina operators reviewed exhibitor commitments and attendance forecasts. It was noted that both booth and in-water display registrations were significantly lower than in previous years, with many participating exhibitors planning to bring minimal inventory. All deposits received for the 2025 show will be returned in full.

“After surveying exhibitors and speaking directly with many of our longtime participants, it became clear that the current economic uncertainty—particularly around tariffs—would impact our ability to deliver a 2025 event that meets the high standards our attendees and partners expect,” said California Yacht Brokers Association President Mark White. “While this was a difficult decision, we believe it’s the right one for the long-term success of the show.”

“We’re excited to return in 2026 with a completely refreshed format that reflects the evolving interests of the boating and outdoor recreation communities,” added White.

The Pacific & Power Boat Show is owned and produced by the California Yacht Brokers Association (CYBA) and in partnership with Sail America, the trade association for the U.S. sailing industry dedicated to promoting the health and growth of sailing.
