Sojourn in SoCalMay 1 - Two Harbors, Catalina Island When the Webmistress was there midweek in dry, dusty August, those picnic benches in the top photo, at Isthmus Cove where the ferry boats land, were full of folks. The side of the isthmus facing away from LA, Catalina Harbor, is never as crowded (bottom photo). While sojourning in SoCal, the Wanderer had the great good fortune of sailing on an Oracle Racing America's Cup boat. He will return tomorrow a report and photos. Photos Latitude/Richard |
