    I started to clear up the mess once I got the tiller extension out of my foulies…the amazing thing was after three jibes and four capsizes, I still managed to stay dry!

    Jason takes the lead in this year’s single handed Trans Pac Race. Ultra light and fast is his strategy although there are many who doubt the 28 granola bars he has strapped to his chest will be enough provisions for the journey.

Ron Holland Design
In the mid-'70s legendary yacht designer Ron Holland drew up a 40-footer for Belvedere sailor Dave Allen. Holland's then-brother-in-law Gary Carlin built her in 1976 in Florida.
