Qualcomm / Globalstar Satellite
Systems Baja Ha-Ha VII Update

November 9, 2000 – Cabo San Lucas

The race committee has arrived in Cabo and the fleet is trickling
in, hitting the beach after a wakeful night sailing into a sea
swell from the south, running before winds from the north. Next
on the agenda are the beach party and awards ceremony, and we
suspect that a few Ha-Ha’ers will be hitting Squid Roe and other
favorite Cabo night spots as well!

This Baja Ha-Ha VII update has been brought to you via Qualcomm
satellite phones and Globalstar satellite systems, the official
communications system of the Ha-Ha. We’ve been using their products
to make countless calls and send the photos you’ve seen here.
It’s worked great!
