Cheminées Poujoulat Wins BWR

After 83 days at sea, circumnavigating doublehanders Bernard Stamm of Switzerland and Frenchman Jean Le Cam still appear to be friends. And their grins are understandable, as they were almost 1,000 miles ahead of their nearest competitor, Neutrogena, when they took this selfie.

Bernard Stamm and Jean Le Cam on Cheminées Poujoulat won the Barcelona World Race just as we were finishing up ‘Lectronic today. We’ll have a report on Friday.

The doublehanded around-the-world race is sailed in IMOCA 60 monohulls.
